Mark Abel presented at APMP Bid & Proposal Con 2013 in Atlanta, Georgia titled “Shaping the Requirement:  Influencing the Acquisition Before the RFP.”  Creating competitive advantage is critical to separating a bidder from the field and increasing likelyhood of award.  The concepts and strategies discussed in the presentation helped participants to think in new ways, proactively affect the procurement, improve capture and pursuit effectiveness, and ultimately make them more successful in their jobs.
